COMBI-REG
Dihydrostreptomycin is an antibiotic from the group of aminoglycosides. It works by binding to bacterial ribosomes, disrupting protein synthesis and leading to the death of the bacteria.
Dihydrostreptomycin is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, especially infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria.
Procaine Penicillin is a beta-lactam antibiotic.
It works by inhibiting the construction of the cell wall of bacteria, leading to cell explosion and death.
Procaine Penicillin is particularly effective against Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria.
It is used to treat many bacterial infections such as respiratory infections, skin infections, and urinary system infections.
Both drugs work on different mechanisms to attack bacteria, making the combination more effective in treating complex infections and reducing the possibility of bacteria developing resistance to treatment.
The compound is used to treat severe and diverse bacterial infections in animals, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal infections, skin infections, and other infections that require broad antibiotic coverage.
